Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Sri Lanka

Colombo - Kandy

Be welcomed to Sri Lanka with a warm "Ayubowan" a traditional greeting wishing long life to the other during your 'meet and greet' at Colombo International Airport. You'll then be driven by your English-speaking chauffeur to the city of Kandy where you will spend your first night in this unique island country.

Day 1: Arrive Sri Lanka

Day 2: Explore Kandy

Today you'll explore the city of Kandy starting at the Royal Botanical Gardens which are filled with many exotic plants from Java figs and orchids to bamboos. When you've had enough of strolling the flower-filled grounds, head to Sri Dalada Maligawa, or Temple of the Tooth Relic, an important sacred temple housing a tooth relic of Lord Buddha. End your day with an evening of music and dance, taking in the Kandyan Dance Cultural Show.

Day 2: Explore Kandy

Leave city life behind as you head into Sri Lanka's verdant tea country. With terraced plantations across the mountainside, Nuwara Eliya is the country's premier hill resort with a cooler climate and picturesque landscapes including waterfalls. You'll also find red and green-roofed bungalows, a golf course and racecourse, giving the area a distinct British character. 

  After check in at the hotel , your evening sightseeing tour will include a visit to a tea factory and a tea plantation.
