Khao Lak Holidays

Set within the stunning Phang Nga Province in southern Thailand – famed for its limestone karsts and emerald-green waters – Khao Lak is a low-key, easy going and refreshingly uncrowded destination. Khao Lak Activities


With a multitude of stunning beaches, Khao Lak is a great place to try your hand at watersports including kayaking, windsurfing and sailing. Snorkelling and diving is excellent here, particularly around the Similan and Surin Islands set within a protected marine park If you prefer to keep your feet on dry land, you could trek through Khao Lak National Park or enjoy one of the local golf courses. Many resorts offer bike hire, allowing you to see more of the local area on two wheels and for a reasonable price. However, for those who want nothing but R&R, Khao Lak holidays are a perfect choice. Head to one of the sandy, yet uncrowded, beaches such as Owtang Beach, where you'll be guaranteed gorgeous sands, as well as peace and quiet.

The luxury hotels and resorts in Khao Lak are renowned for the range and quality of their food and drink, whether you're enjoying fine dining in the moonlight or just a casual meal by the pool. Don’t forget about Tham Phung Chang caves, and the amazing three-level Lampi Waterfall as both are guaranteed to take your breath away. You'll also find a range of natural hot springs to soak your troubles away in, such as Ban Do Dan Springs and Rommanee Hot Springs. Khao Lak is also home to some beautiful cultural sites that highlight the heritage and religion of the area, such as the Komniyoket Temple, the shrine to a wizard at Chao Pho Khao Lak or the ornate archway and golden Buddha at the Padungthomphotiwa Temple.
