Holidays to USA National Parks

Holidays to USA National Parks

West coast to east coast, in the middle of the Midwest or in the heart of the Rockies, there’s more USA National Parks than there are states to hold them! Feel the intense heat of Death Valley, witness the hot springs of Yellowstone or spend time in Yosemite, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Holiday to any one of these awe inspiring natural beauties and you’ll find plenty of outdoor adventure from hiking and boating to wildlife spotting and star-gazing. And if you really want to explore one of the National Parks we’d recommend setting aside some serious time and – if possible – spend the night to feel the parks’ majesty once the crowds have gone. Our collection of hotels and resort are set either right outside or directly inside the parks – what could be more convenient? We’ve selected our favourite USA National Parks but if you want to experience one not shown on our website, simply give our USA travel specialists a call and ask what we can do for you!

Travel Tips & Advice for USA National Parks

USA National Parks Activities

The activities will differ depending on which National Park you're visiting, but you can always be sure of incredible natural wonders, breath taking beauty and exciting adventures. Hike Yosemite's Sentinel Dome, raft down the Colorado River, walk the rocky shoreline of Maine's Acadia National Park, or take in the view of seven states from Clingmans Dome in the Great Smoky Mountains. In Alaska you can gaze up at Mount Denali while also keeping an eye out wolves, bear, moose and caribou.

USA National Parks Attractions

The National Parks and Lakes are as much about preservation as they are about entertainment. While luxury National Park holidays are about relaxation and enjoyment, the most important thing here is the nature and its protection. Wherever you choose to visit you can be sure of a wild ride. Whether you're watching Old Faithful erupt in Yellowstone, gaping in awe at the natural rock formations of Zion, walking through redwoods or learning about kelp in the Channel Islands, you're sure to be amazed.

When To Visit USA National Parks

While there is never a bad time to visit, there are certain times when some of the National Parks are at their best. Denali in Alaska for example, is best avoided in the winter with its long dark days and endless snow. Death Valley shouldn't be visited in summer to avoid the worst of the heat, while spring brings wild flowers to many of the parks, including the Great Smoky and Rocky Mountain National Parks, while a profusion of flowers hits the Sonoran Desert in early summer.
