The resort lives up to its name, offering a little piece of paradise amongst swaying palm trees and a long stretch of beach on the north-east coast of Zanzibar. Ocean Paradise Resort is made up of traditional Zanzibar accommodation with a range of thatched chalets and an open-air lobby with a waterfall feature and the warmest Zanzibar hospitality.     There are three restaurants at Ocean Paradise Resort, offering food made from fresh local ingredients. The Restaurant serves breakfasts and light meals in the day and an extensive daily changing buffet in the evenings. The Jahazi Restaurant is down by the pool and serves snacks and wood-fired pizzas as well as an a la carte menu with authentic Zanzibari dishes. The beachfront Mawimbi Restaurant serves Zanzibar fusion cuisine with Asian and western influences. There is also a poolside and swim-up bar serving exotic cocktails.
