Touring Holidays to Thailand

Our collection of touring holidays in Thailand offer the chance for visitors to experience this beautiful country beyond the beaches and cities. Each tailor-made package in our collection below has been carefully selected for our clients by our Asia Travel Experts.

Naturally, many of our touring holidays kick off in Bangkok. Here, you can explore the capital, barter at the famous Damnoen Saduak floating market and sample the country's best-known dish, pad thai, from authentic food stalls before moving on to your next destination.

Choose from 12-day trips that take you through the bustling streets of Bangkok to the peaceful oasis of Mai Khao beach, or spend a couple of days at an award-winning elephant camp where animal welfare is paramount before traversing the steps of an ancient temple on a private tour in southern Thailand. Whether you're planning an epic honeymoon or want to see more of the world as a family, you’ll discover a tour of Thailand tailored to your individual needs in our collection.

Travel Tips & Advice for Thailand

Thailand Activities

Holidays to Thailand have become known as great for sunbathing by the pool or on the beach, which is true, however, there's so much more to do here. Water sports are thriving at destinations such as Phuket and Samui. Visitors can also choose from excellent golfing facilities and spa treatments. There are magnificent palaces and temples - the Grand Palace in Bangkok is very ornate; Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, gleams in the sunset making for glittering, glowing photographs.

Thailand Food & Drink

Delicious Thai dishes featuring freshly prepared ingredients are often adapted to suit the Western palate in tourist outlets - they can be particularly hot and spicy. Pad Thai has rice noodles and Gong Yen Pet is a hot red curry with chilli, shrimp paste and garlic. If you fancy a local whisky try Mekong, or if rum's your tipple choose SamSong. Much-prized local beers include Singha and Singha Gold. Milk straight from the coconut shell is deemed particularly refreshing.

Thailand Attractions

Khao Yai National Park is a World Heritage Site and the wildlife includes tigers and elephants. Here you can camp out, hike or climb the watchtowers in the evenings to see nocturnal species out and about. Ti Lor Su Waterfall is an almost-hidden yet spectacular sight in the forest of "Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary."  The highest and largest in Thailand, the name means "loud waterfall" and is particularly apt for the powerful, roaring cascades you hear and their majestic natural beauty.
