    Located off the coast of Borneo on Pulau Gaya in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park cluster of islands, Gaya Island Resort offers visitors luxury in the heart of some of the world’s most beautiful scenery. The resort is situated among sandy beaches lapped by turquoise waters, a lush rainforest, and a vibrant house reef teeming with wildlife. The hotel lies just off Kota Kinabalu, on the east side of Malaysian Borneo. A 25 minute road transfer from the airport takes guests to the jetty, where they will be taken on a 10 minute speedboat journey to the resort.

    A compulsory conservation fee of MYR35 on the first night of stay and an additional MYR25 for each night thereof is applied to each guest, including children, as mandated by Sabah Parks.

    The conservation fee is a contribution to Sabah Parks in support of their efforts towards preserving the rich ecosystem of the region.
